The bridesmaid waited patiently on the church steps for the guests attending the ceremony. Radiant in her strapless pale pink satin and tulle dress, the neckline sparkling with dozens of rhinestones, she had a moment of panic when a gust of wind lifted the pink cloud to reveal her golden-brown legs. The breeze had deposited a layer of dust on her pretty silver heels, so her discreet and devoted slave immediately threw himself at her feet to clean the soiled shoes.

‘Licking The Shoes Of An Unknown Woman In A Public Place’ is an important and interesting series because it is inspired by real girls encountered on the street, under a bus shelter, in the underground, in a shop or while travelling.

Marked with the label ‘The Heels That Sleep In The Storeroom’, these illustrations refer to childhood, when we would take our mother's shoes out of the storeroom, arrange them in a circle around us, and imagine that they were stern women who dominated us and whose shoes we had to clean.
