Dressed in a leather jacket and skirt, a silk blouse, a wide belt with a gold buckle and a pair of high-heeled shoes, she stood on the tarmac of the car park, ready to get into her car. When she noticed a speck of dust on the patent leather of her shoes, a glance at her slave was enough to make him crawl to her feet to clean the stain.

‘Licking The Shoes Of An Unknown Woman In A Public Place’ is an important and interesting series because it is inspired by real girls encountered on the street, under a bus shelter, in the underground, in a shop or while travelling.

Marked with the label ‘The Heels That Sleep In The Storeroom’, these illustrations refer to childhood, when we would take our mother's shoes out of the storeroom, arrange them in a circle around us, and imagine that they were stern women who dominated us and whose shoes we had to clean.
