Food crushing is a very exciting aspect of fetishism, which defies the taboo of not playing with food. We see it in photos and videos, where women crush all kinds of food under their feet or stiletto heels, with the ulterior motive of having it all cleaned up afterwards by a docile and greedy tongue.
In this painting, the idea is to realistically depict a crushed cake exploding under a luxury shoe, showing the pastry breaking and the cream dripping under the pressure of the sole.
The painting is sold with a set of Polaroid® photos of the making-of the crushing session.
